Happy Leap Year and Happy Birthday to my grandson Aidan!
This is his third birthday and is turns 12 today!

Hi sweet friends and welcome to the February Kit!
Our host for the month and her first time hosting is
 Nancy Penir.....wonderful first kit Nancy!
Thank you so much!

Oh my goodness did Nancy ever send an amazing kit!
I have so many supplies left over and Nancy even sent, paint, paintbrush , masking fluid you name it, it was in the kit!

We have a guest this month and she is a sweet and creative blog friend:Marcia Hill: Marcia’s Stampin’ Pad!
Welcome Marcia!

This was painted with the watercolor included in the kit, I had to mix a few colors and I used my own white paint and maybe some orange at the end.

I love these tea cups, I painted them and when dry I added
Glossy Accents to each one

Its almost like Nancy made the card below
because all I did was glue the.. hello.. on the beautifully

embossed card panel.

There is a lot to see so I won’t keep you, anymore. You can see the rest of the DT cards and supply list  on The 12 Kits of Occasion Blog . It will also explain a bit about what this is , if you are new the 12 Kits post.

God bless!

Loving this New Stamp Set

Welcome to the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop
I am always amazed at the beautiful cards on these hops.

My Papertrey Ink order came yesterday and I had a few minutes to make this card before the
sun went down. ( needed to photograph)
I was reminded of partial die cutting after seeing Jennifer McGuire’s video.
I know there has been a few Make it Mondays with partial die cutting as well.

I made a few mistakes, but no time to remake yesterday. I will be making lots of these!
Oh my gosh the Tulips are amazing, can’t wait to spend some time in the craft room
and really play with them.

Thank you for the visit today!

Watercolor Resist

Papertrey Ink
Lexi has a great video with all the details.

Thanks for the tip Nancy

Hello! I had the glue Lexi used on her video but not the time so I used masking fluid. It dried fast with the heat gun. I made polka dots by dipping, the pencil eraser in the masking jar. Last minute I decided to cut the tiny butterflies. Once I cut them too late to change my mind. I have three layers of paint with the last one
a silver shimmer.

As usual I am heading out the door after I make it look like I did something around here today:)
I did the elliptical, some wash and three bathrooms so not too bad.
Off to one of our grandsons game.

Hope you have a wonderful week!

I used glitter embossing powder on my stamped image.

As soon as I got my newBeautiful Bouquet: Ranunculus from Wplus9 and my new Memory box Postage Squares I had to try and make a card like Jennifer McGuire ( she makes everything look so easy) Not the best blending with my Zig pens but I am happy with the way it turned out for a first try! Love the new Bouquet stamps!

Thanks for the visit today!

As I usual I am running out the door again.

Playing along in the last Papertrey Ink 9th Anniversary challenge .

Baby Boy

Hello, friends!
There is a fun little challenge over at Papertrey Ink to celebrate their 9th Anniversary

The colors that came up for me were Hawaiian Shores, Blueberry Sky and Spring Rain. I knew right away these colors would be perfect for a baby boy card. My nephew and his wife are expecting their first baby in March. We are so excited for them. I know they like simple so hope they will like this.

As much as this is a very happy occasion it still makes me a little sad that my sister Maryellen who passed away from cancer when she was too young, Will not know the joy of being a grandmother for the first time. I will never forget how that felt. ( with each one)

Hope you enjoy your weekend! I am sure I will be back tomorrow for more Papertrey Ink challenges.

Nine Bits of Love

How to win: 1. Create a new card that features nine 1-1/2” squares, each altered in a different way.
Mount them all onto a 5-1/2” x 5-1/2” square card base.

Hello! Oh my gosh I had so much fun creating this card!
It took quite a bit of time but I enjoyed it. I will be making more squares with
Petite Places in the future. The hardest part
was deciding what set to use !

I think my favorite square is the one with the flag and the pie trees.
This just might go in a frame.

I used all Papertrey Ink products Congrats again on 9 amazing years!

Thanks for the visit and
God bless you!

All of the above with matching die sets

for the sentiment square
